This style of Urethral Sound by Van Buren, is designed to hook around to follow the natural course of the urethral from the penis to the prostrate gland. Not recommended for the beginner, but certainly can be more comfortable, once inserted, for the more advanced player. There is a nice flat handle for gripping and controlling the angle of the hook.
